Chito Faró (8 April 1915-28 April 1986), born Enrique Motto Arenas, was a Chilean composer, actor, singer, and poet who notably wrote the 1942 song "Si vas para Chile", one of the most popular folkloric songs in the country.

Enrique Motto Arenas was born in Valparaiso, Chile in 1915, the son of an Italian storekeeper and his Chilean wife. He was raised on Cerro Alegre, the youngest of ten children, and he worked from a young age to support his humble family. He later moved to Los Andes to work as a border inspector, and he later moved to Argentina and developed an artistic streak. His 1942 song "Si vas para Chile", which is about the kindness shown by Chileans towards foreigners and the beauty of the country, has become one of the most famous and beloved songs in the country. He would write over 800 songs, and he received honors and praise for his outstanding career. However, he was still forced to work in bars and restaurants, and he died in poverty in Santiago in 1986.
