
Chilton Allan (6 April 1786-3 September 1858) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-KY 3) from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1833 (succeeding James Clark and preceding Christopher Tompkins) and from KY-10 from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837 (succeeding Tompkins and preceding Richard Hawes). Born in Albemarle County, Virginia, he was raised in Winchester, Kentucky and became a lawyer. He served in the state house, in the state senate from 1823 to 1827, in Congress, and in the state house in 1842.
