
Chief Mongke of Samarra (1224-) was a noble of the Ilkhanate.
Biography[]
Mongke was born in 1224 to the House of Mongke (not to be confused with the house of Mongke Khan), a dynasty of Tengri Mongols. Mongke was made the chief of Samarra in present-day Iraq by Hulegu Khan, and Mongke inherited the Taishi of Balad from Hetman Borjigidai of Balad on 7 April 1260.
