Keith Farrelle Cozart (born 15 August 1995), known professionally as Chief Keef, is an American rapper and record producer.

Keith Farrelle Cozart was born in Chicago, Illinois on 15 August 1995, and he began rapping at the age of 5, using his mother's karaoke machine and blank tapes to record his music. He dropped out of high school at age 15 and became a popular rapper on the South Side, especially among high school students. His increasing popularity led to a brief feuding war among record labels, and he ultimately signed to Interscope Records and 1017 Brick Squad. He also became the CEO of his own label, Glory Boyz Entertainment, which later developed into Glo Gang. On 18 December 2012, he released his debut album, Finally Rich, and he would become as controversial as he was famous. He was arrested for heroin manufacture and distribution in 2011, for marijuana use on several occasions, and for several gun-related charges.
