
Chief Jamugha of Vaspurakan (1224-) was a noble of the Ilkhanate.
Biography[]
Jamugha was born in 1224 to the Jamughids, a dynasty of Tengri Mongols. He became the chief of Vaspurakan, a region of Armenia, and he was a vassal of Hulegu Khan. He was invited to the 1264 Ilkhanate Nerge, where he came to blows with High Chief al-Muwahhid Abdallah Taqi al-Din in front of his men and held a grudge against him.
