Chief Hussayn of Al Nadjaf (1220-) was a noble of the Ilkhanate.
Biography[]
Hussayn was born in 1220 to the Yaseenids, a dynasty of Shi'ite Muslim Levantines. In 1264 he was invited by Hulegu Khan to take part in the 1264 Ilkhanate Grand Tournament, and he fought his way to third place in the tournament, behind Hulegu and Mayor Ahmad of Irbid.
