
Chief Arslan of Chuy (1035-) was Chief of Chuy from 1060, succeeding Chief Sugr II of Chuy.
Biography[]
Arslan was born in 1035 to the Chigil Karluks in Chuy, now located in Kazakhstan. In 1060, he succeeded his father Chief Sugr II of Chuy as chief of the Chuy tribes, and he had to live in the shadow of the larger Zhetysu to the north.
