Chief Aelbeg of Kasogia (825-) was the chief of Kasogia and was a vassal of Khazaria.
Biography[]
Aelbeg was born in 825 to the House of Aelbegatae, an Orthodox Christian dynasty of Alans. Aelbeg was a vassal of Khan Manasseh II of Khazaria, and he ruled over the Chiefdom of Kasogia (in present-day Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia).
