The Chicago Gaylords is a white Chicago street gang that was founded during the 1940s. The gang took its name from the Gaylord (Gaillard) family of Normandy, and its original members were mostly Italian, Irish, and Greek-American World War II veterans. The "club" has its own clubhouses and baseball teams, and the gang became the largest of Chicago's white gangs, also becoming known as a violent and bigoted outfit. The gang allied itself with the People Nation and the Bloods, while it was enemies with the Folk Nation.
