Chiba Tanenobu (born 1821) was a Japanese soldier in the service of the pro-Imperial Choshu Domain during the Boshin War of the 1860s. He served in Mori Takachika's army and fought at the Battle of Mino Station in December 1866, among other battles in the Chubu region.
