Cheshire is a county in northwest England, bordering Merseyshire and Greater Manchester to the north, Derbyshire to the east, Staffordshire and Shropshire to the south, and Wales to the west. Chester is the county town, while Warrington is the largest town. In 2016, Cheshire had a population of 1,048,100.
