
Cheng Yiu-tong (born 1948) was President of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions from 2000 to 2009, succeeding Lee Chark-tim and preceding Lam Shuk-yee.
Biography[]
Cheng Yiu-tong was born in Hong Kong in 1948, and he served twice as Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions from 1974 to 2004, as well as President of Hong Kong. From 1995 to 1998, he served on the Legislative Council, and he was an informal Legislative Council member from 2002 to 2017. In 2003, he was also made Hong Kong deputy to the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China.
