Chen Lin (?-217) was one of the Seven Teachers of Jian'an and Yuan Shao's secretary. When Dong Zhuo seized power, he fled to Ji and joined Yuan Shao. Before the Battle of Guandu, he authored the declaration for Cao Cao's execution. Later he was captured by Cao Cao, but appointed to a good post because of his skills.
