Chen Daozhi (1982-9 December 2005) was a Chinese-born waiter at the Jade Lotus restaurant in Yokohama, Japan and associate of the Snake Flower Triad. On the night of 9 December 2005, he greeted the prospective customer Kazuma Kiryu when he entered the restaurant, but, when Kiryu asked Daozhi to tell Lau Ka Long that he was there to see him, Chen pretended not to know who Lau was. However, a guard at the front counter, Wang Bintao, called Lau and received orders to kill Kiryu, so he produced an AK-47 from under the counter and attempted to kill Kiryu. Wang accidentally shot Chen, so Kiryu used Chen as a human shield and then threw Chen's corpse at Wang, knocking him out.
