
Chauncey Forward (4 February 1793-19 October 1839) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 13) from 4 December 1826 to 3 March 1831, succeeding Alexander Thomson and preceding George Burd. Born in Granby, Connecticut, he moved to Ohio in 1800 and to Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He practiced law in Somerset before serving in the state house from 1820 to 1822, in the state senate from 1823 to 1826, and in Congress.
