Charlie Strong (born 1875) was a member of the Peaky Blinders gang of Birmingham, England during the early 20th century.
Biography[]
Charlie Strong was born in Birmingham in 1875, and he was of partial Romani ancestry. He became the uncle of Arthur, Tommy, John, Ada, and Finn Shelby after his sister married Arthur Shelby, Sr., and he joined his nephews' Peaky Blinders gang. He owned his own yard where he helped the gang with preparing shipments and taking care of Tommy's horses (which he later did in an official capacity for Shelby Company Limited).
