
Charles West Kendall (22 April 1828-25 June 1914) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NV) from 4 March 1871 to 3 March 1875, succeeding Thomas Fitch and preceding William Woodburn.
Biography[]
Charles West Kendall was born in Searsmont, Maine in 1828, and he moved to California in 1849 and edited the San Jose Tribune from 1855 to 1859. He became a lawyer in Sacramento in 1859, and he served in the State Assembly from 1852 to 1853. He then moved to Hamilton, Nevada, and he served in the US House of Representatives from 1871 to 1875. He died in 1914.
