Charles Wesley Walton (9 December 1819-24 January 1900) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-ME 2) from 4 March 1861 to 26 May 1862 (succeeding John J. Perry and preceding T.A.D. Fessenden).

Biography[]

Charles Wesley Walton was born in Mexico, Maine in 1819, and he became a lawyer in Oxford in 1841 and later practiced law in Dixfield and served as Oxford County attorney from 1847 to 1851. He moved to Auburn in 1855 and served as Androscoggin County attorney from 1857 to 1860, in the US House of Representatives from 1861 to 1862, and the associate justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court from 1862 to 1897. He died in 1900.
