Charles Smith Sewall (1779-3 November 1848) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 6) from 1 October 1832 to 3 March 1833 (succeeding George Edward Mitchell and preceding William Cost Johnson) and from MD-3 from 2 January 1843 to 3 March 1843 (succeeding James Wray Williams and preceding John Wethered). Born in Queen Anne's County, he served in the War of 1812, in the House of Delegates from 1815 to 1817, 1823, and 1825, in the State Senate from 1826 to 1830, and in Congress.
