
Charles Rogers (30 April 1800-13 January 1874) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-NY 14) from 4 March 1843 to 3 March 1845, succeeding Henry Bell Van Rensselaer and preceding Erastus D. Culver. Born in Northumberland and raised in Lake George, he practiced law and farmed in Hudson Falls before serving in the State Assembly in 1833 and 1837, in Congress, as a Union Army recruiter, and as a delegate to the 1866 Republican and 1872 Liberal Republican National Conventions.
