Charles Rich (13 September 1771-15 October 1824) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-VT) from 4 March 1813 to 3 March 1815 (succeeding Martin Chittenden and preceding Asa Lyon) and from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1821 (succeeding Chauncey Langdon and preceding Henry Olin) and from VT-3 from 4 March 1821 to 15 October 1824 (succeeding Langdon and preceding Olin).

Biography[]

Charles Rich was born in Warwick, Massachusetts in 1771, and he moved to Shoreham, Vermont in 1787, in the State House from 1800 to 1811, as an Addison County judge for six years, and in the US House of Representatives from 1813 to 1815 and from 1817 to 1824, when he died in office.
