Charles Hopper Gibson (19 January 1842-31 March 1900) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 1) from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1891 (succeeding George W. Covington and preceding Henry Page) and a US Senator from 19 November 1891 to 4 March 1897 (succeeding Ephraim King Wilson II and preceding George L. Wellington). Born in Centreville, Maryland, he practiced law in Easton before serving as an internal revenue collector, a representative, and a Senator, and he died in Washington DC while practicing law.
