Charles Edward Sebastian (30 March 1873-17 April 1929) was the Democratic Mayor of Los Angeles from 1 July 1915 to 2 September 1916, succeeding Henry H. Rose and preceding Frederic T. Woodman.

Charles Edward Sebastian was born in Farmington, Missouri in 1873, and he moved to Los Angeles and became an LAPD patrolman. He served as Chief of Police from 1911 to 1915 and as Mayor from 1915 to 1916; while he crusaded against vice in the city, he resigned after the publication of damaging letters. He died in 1929.
