
Charles Eaton Haynes (15 April 1784-29 August 1841) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-GA AL) from 4 March 1825 to 3 March 1827 (succeeding Joel Abbot), from GA-5 from 4 March 1827 to 3 March 1829, from GA-AL from 4 March 1829 to 3 March 1831 (preceding George Rockingham Gilmer), and from 4 March 1835 to 3 March 1839 (succeeding Seaborn Jones and preceding Lott Warren). Born in Brunswick, Virginia, he practiced medicine before serving in Congress.
