Charles Boyle Roberts (19 April 1842-10 September 1899) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 2) from 4 March 1875 to 3 March 1879, succeeding Stevenson Archer and preceding J. Frederick C. Talbott.
Biography[]
Charles Boyle Roberts was born in Uniontown, Maryland in 1842, and he became a lawyer in Westminster in 1864. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1875 to 1879 and as Attorney General of Maryland from 1883 to 1885; he later served as a judge, and he died in 1899.
