Charles Augustus Barnitz (11 September 1780-8 January 1850) was a member of the US House of Representatives (AM-PA 11) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1835, succeeding Thomas Hartley Crawford and Robert McCoy and preceding Henry Logan. Born in York, he practiced law before serving in the state senate from 1815 to 1819 and in Congress.
