The Charamokho raid occurred in 2019 when a team of American special forces operatives raided the Bolivian village of Charamokho in an attempt to capture the Santa Blanca Cartel's chief propagandist, DJ Perico.
The Americans found the location of DJ Perico's radio station after acquiring an order for sound equipment to be shipped to Charamokho. Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon team inserted by helicopter in the middle of the night, and they engaged in close-quarters combat as they cleared Charamokho of enemies and made their way towards DJ Perico's radio station. While the station was found deserted, CIA contact Karen Bowman had the team take down the village's drone jammer so that Perryman could send a drone to steal the radio tower's signals and trace them to Perico's location. After finishing off the narcos' presence in Charamokho, the Americans destroyed the jammer with a grenade and sent a drone to intercept the tower's signals, which were sent to signals intelligence and analyzed.
