Francesca "Cesca" Camonte (1912-1932) was the younger sister of Chicago Outfit boss Tony Camonte. Born in Brooklyn, New York City to Sicilian immigrant parents, she and her brother moved to Chicago during their youths, and Cesca grew up to be a rebellious and fun-loving woman, while Camonte became a violent mobster. Tony disapproved of Cesca's seeing of men in secret, beating her after catching her dancing with a much older man at a club. While Tony was in hiding in Florida following Johnny Lovo's murder in 1930, Cesca seduced her longtime crush Guino Rinaldo, Tony's right-hand man, and married him in 1932. A day later, Tony tracked down Cesca after she left the family home, and, on seeing Rinaldo greet him in the doorway, shot him dead. That night, Cesca visited her brother's apartment with the intention of killing him, but she ultimately opted against doing so and instead, having lost her mind as a result of her husband's death, gleefully helped her brother prepare for a showdown with the Chicago Police Department. She was struck by a stray bullet while loading her brother's guns, and she died in his arms minutes before he, too, would be gunned down.
