Cesar Fernandino Arias

Cesar Fernandino Arias (1963-2017) was a Mexican-American man who was killed by the LAPD during Operation Day of the Dead.

Biography[]

Cesar Fernandino Arias was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico in 1963, and he emigrated to the United States to work as a lawn mower. He helped with mowing the grass along the sidewalks of Florence, Los Angeles, California, where he made his home, and he lived in a small home. In 2017, during Operation Day of the Dead, he attempted to stop LAPD officer Kevin Feijoo from shooting at unsuspecting Vagos or suspected gangsters, only to be himself gunned down.
