Ceolred of Mercia (671-1 June 716) was King of Mercia from 709 to 716, succeeding Coenred and preceding Ceolwald.
Biography[]
Ceolred was born in 671, the son of King Aethelred of Mercia. He succeeded his cousin Coenred of Mercia as King of Mercia in 709, and he reigned until his own death in 716.
