Central America is the southernmost portion of the North American continent, connecting with South America on the southeast. The religion consists of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama, with a population of 42,688,190 people in 2012. It is a hotspot of biodiversity, with volcanoes and rainforests, and most of its inhabitants are of full or partial Native American descent.
