The Center Party of Sweden is a liberal political party in Sweden that was founded in 1913. The party was founded as the Farmers' League, also known as the Bondefoerbundet, and it was allied with the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 1932 to 1957, taking part in coalition governments from 1936 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1957. However, the party soon evolved into an alliance of center-right, non-socialist parties, and it evolved into a small business-friendly, neoliberal, and libertarian party during the 2000s. The party saw the Social Democrats as its main rivals, and it allied with the Moderate Party, the Liberals, and the Christian Democrats in a center-right alliance.
