Celio Chaves

Celio Chaves (1708 - 1745) was a Portuguese soldier serving the Spanish Army along with the two other Chaves Brothers.

Biography[]

Celio Chaves was the younger brother of Alberto Chaves and the older brother of Benito Chaves, and was born to a Portuguese noble family in the service of the Spanish Empire. As an officer in the Spanish Army, he was posted in Fort Alvo Grande in Panama.

Death[]

In 1745 Jack Sparrow and William Turner, two Pirates captured while trying to find the Skull of Teoxuacata, escaped the gallows with the help of their fellow Pirate Elizabeth Swann, and after Alberto and Benito ran into trouble, Celio entered the battle. Using a flaming whip, Celio was a fierce fighter, but was killed in the battle.
