Town Watchmen are municipality militiamen serving as riot control police officers in charged with maintain public order against large civil disorders, to disperse crowds, discourage criminality, to protect people or property as well as enforcing municipal laws. They wore similar uniforms to their regular police counterparts except with a militaristic style.
