People who are of mixed native African and Arab descent, culturally-Arab Africans (i.e. Africans whose main language is Arabic, dress in traditional Arab clothing, and have Arab names), or both. Examples of the former are Anwar Sadat and the Hussainids, people who are of mixed African and Arab parentage, while an example of the latter is Muammar Gaddafi, an Arabized Berber from Libya.
