Carlotta Moro (born 1463) was a Venetian noblewoman and widow of Marco Barbarigo, as well as the ex-wife of Dante Moro. Her marriage to Moro, the son of Doge Cristoforo Moro, made Barbarigo jealous. This caused Barbarigo to send men to kill Dante, leaving him severely mentally impaired from a knife to the brain. Carlotta was forced to divorce Moro and marry Barbarigo, despite her still loving Moro.
She later wrote a letter to Moro, expressing her love and that she wished he remembered her. After Ezio Auditore da Firenze killed Moro, he requested to Sister Teodora that the letter be sent back to Carlotta.
