
Carlos Blanco Galindo (12 March 1882-2 October 1943) was President of Bolivia from 28 June 1930 to 5 March 1931, succeeding Hernando Siles and preceding Daniel Salamanca.
Biography[]
Carlos Blanco Galindo was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia in 1882, and he worked as a lawyer before serving in the Bolivian Army. In 1930, he helped overthrow President Hernando Siles after he attempted to extend his term in office, and Blanco called new elections within seven months. He went on to serve as Ambassador to Uruguay before serving in the Chaco War.
