Carlo Visconti (died 2 January 1477) was a government secretary in Milan's Council of Justice and one of the assassins of Galeazzo Maria Sforza.
Biography[]
Carlo Visconti was a member of the noble House of Visconti, which ruled Milan until 1447. He became a government secretary in the Council of Justice under the House of Sforza, and he was recruited into a conspiracy against Galeazzo Maria Sforza on 26 December 1476. He was one of the assassins who stabbed Sforza dead, and he was executed a week later.
