The Capture of Gervasio Prieto Román occurred in 2019 when a team of four American Ghost Recon operatives ambushed and apprehended the Santa Blanca Cartel lieutenant Gervasio Prieto Román north of Frontera, Caimanes.
Despite failing to capture a Santa Blanca lieutenant at a rural gas station, Major Anthony Perryman and his team came across Prieto as he drove a jeep down the road to Frontera. Perryman and his team immobilized Prieto's car with gunfire and took on his escorts, resulting in a fierce shootout on the highway. La Unidad forces were dispatched to deal with the Americans, but the Americans were able to escape the army and flee into the swampy interior of Caimanes, causing the military to give up its search.
