Candida (5 March 754-) was a courtier of the Republic of Venice.
Biography[]
Candida was born on 5 May 754 to a lowborn family of Catholic Italians in the Republic of Venice. In 770 the future Doge Giovanni of Venice recruited her into his plot to assassinate Doge Teodato of Venice.
