Cancio Abadía (died 2019) was a Bolivian physician in the employ of the Santa Blanca Cartel. He and his colleagues implanted cocaine-filled balloons into dozens of "volunteers" each week, smuggling them into Brazil for transit to the United States and beyond. In 2019, American special forces killed the cartel's corrupt physicians in the Marcavi clinic raid.
