Cai Wenji

Cai Wenji (?-?) was the daughter of Cai Yong. Known for her intellect and knowledge, she was also quite a poet. During an uprising, she was captured and taken off to Xiongnu, where she became the wife of the Xiongnu King of the Left. She was later saved by Cao Cao, a warlord who paid a fortune for her.
