The Cabot Gang was an Irish-American crime syndicate based in Los Angeles that functioned from the 1960s to 1992. Founded by Joe Cabot, he and his son Eddie led the gang, which primarily focused on heists and robberies. The gang was dissolved following the failed 1992 Los Angeles diamond heist, when disagreements over whom the undercover police officer who infiltrated and foiled the job was led to the gang's members killing each other, including Joe and Eddie Cabot.
