The Cabinet Office is a department of the government of the United Kingdom which was founded in December 1916 as the successor of the Committee of Imperial Defense. Its functions are to support the Prime Minister and their agenda, support the Cabinet, and strengthen and organize the civil service. It is headquartered at 70 Whitehall in London, England.
