Cäsar Hausmann was a German KPD supporter and Rotfront member who lived in Wedding, Berlin during the Weimar era. In May 1929, he and his Rotfront comrades threw policeman Gereon Rath out of a subway car after the fleeing police informant Franz Krajewski identified Rath as a policeman and "murderer".
