Byron Mac Cutcheon (11 May 1836-12 April 1908) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-MI 9) from 4 March 1883 to 3 March 1891, succeeding Jay A. Hubbell and preceding Harrison H. Wheeler. Born in Pembroke, New Hampshire, he moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1855 to become a teacher, and he served in the 27th Michigan Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War before becoming a brigadier-general and serving in Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. After the war, he became involved with politics alongside his brother Sullivan M. Cutcheon, and he moved to Ionia and Manistee before serving as a congressman from 1883 to 1891. He died in Ypsilanti in 1908.
