Burley Harrington (1826-1868) was the foreman of Blackburn Bellows in Southwark, London.
Biography[]
Burley Harrington was born in 1826 in London. He became the foreman of the Hightower Coal factory in Southwark, a forge that helped to produce several goods; however, he employed only children as the workers, violating regulations on child labor. In 1868, Jacob Frye infiltrated the factory and killed Harrington in his office as he liberated the children.
