
Bu Huilan (2 May 920-?) was the Empress of Liang Liao from 17 August 937 to 25 February 943.
Biography[]
Bu Huilan was born in 920 to a noble Han Chinese family, and she was introduced to the court of Emperor Liang Yong in 937. Liang Yong took a liking to her and decided to marry her, and they married on 17 August 937. She became his Empress, as she was his first wife (despite him having two concubines). Bu Huilan bore him two children: his firstborn son Liang Yan and his only daughter Liang Miao. Her husband died of battle wounds in 943, and Bu Huilan, a 24-year-old widow, decided to depart for China on 23 August 944, leaving Central Asia and disappearing from historical records.
