Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The bridge was completed in 1883, and it was officially named the "Brooklyn Bridge" in 1915. The bridge spans 1,595 feet, crossing the East River, and it was the first steel-wire suspension bridge constructed. In 2003, 123,781 vehicles crossed the bridge every day.
