Broadgate is a district of the City of London in London, England. It was built on the eastern fringes of the old city, outside of the line of the lost defensive walls, and on the East End of the city. A 32-acre office and retail estate was built by Bovis and Tarmac Construction, and it was the largest office development of London until the arrival of Canary Wharf in the 1990s.
